Press release for II. of the Business Forum between the Czech Republic and the United Arab Emirates
Development of commercial business activities in the United Arab Emirates
The Energy and Water Innovation Cluster ("EWIC") prepared, under the auspices of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in the United Arab Emirates ("UAE"), the opportunity for its members to present products, products or technological solutions within the II. year of the Business Forum between the Czech Republic and the UAE. This followed up on the highly successful business forum of 2020.
The foreign trade mission of EWIC representatives and partners took place in the week of 20.10. until 23.10. 2021. The weekly program included:
- Participation and presentation of representatives of companies from the Czech Republic at II. of the Business Forum between the Czech Republic and the UAE held under the auspices of the Embassy of the Czech Republic and His Excellency HH Sheikh Saud bin Saqr al Qasimi.
- Business negotiations and presentation of the Czech side to important local private and state companie
- Participation in the Czechoslovak Independence Day celebrations with the participation of members of the diplomatic corps and distinguished guests, including His Excellency HH Sheikh Saud bin Saqr al Qasimi
- Visiting the World Expo 2020 in Dubai
The business forum took place with the participation of:

- Mainware s.r.o.
- KP Assemblies s.r.o.
- Greentech
- Pure alternative energy
- Representatives of the Embassy of the Czech Republic headed by Ambassador Jiří Slavík
- Czech Trade representatives headed by Mr. V. Polach
- Representatives of RAK Chambers - Chamber of Commerce
- Representatives from Ras al Khaimah investors and companies: RAKEZ, RAK Port, Julphar Pharmacy (the largest local manufacturer of generic drugs)
- Representatives of state law and specialized state institutions
The topic of the business forum was: Mutual business cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and the Czech Republic.
